Thursday, 19 Apr 2018, Capital City: The Hard Stop screening and panel discussion (6-9pm)
The Hard Stop feature documentary directed by George Amponsah charts an intimate story that follows childhood friends of Mark Duggan, the young man whose death sparked the 2011 English Riots against the backdrop of their home on the Broadwater Farm estate. The panel discussion, chaired by Professor Paul Goodwin, UAL Chair of Contemporary Art, will include lead cast, Kurtis Henville, Marcus Knox, and community lawyer Jude Lanchin alongside filmmakers Dionne Walker and George Amponsah. This event is in collaboration with dvrseworld's Digital & Silver Screen Film Festival.
Tuesday, 24th April, Capital City| Panel discussion: Wealth and The City
A panel of artists and academics will discuss issues wealth, property, inequality and other issues examined in the Capital City exhibition.
